CARTERSVILLE, GA – Richard Stephens of Phenix City, AL has
taken over the point lead of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing
Series East Region with the defending East Region Champion Logan Yates
of Delta, AL right on his heels just two points behind in the second

continues to lead the West Region.

Stephens finished fifth on Friday night at Penton Raceway in

and now has 250 points with one win, four top fives, and six top ten
finishes in six starts. Yates
took the fourth spot on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in
Eastaboga, AL to bring his season point total to 248 points with one
win, two top fives, and six top tens in six starts.
Anthony Meadows of Lanett, AL is third in the NeSmith Chevrolet
Weekly Racing Series East Region with 240 points, and Adam Martin of
Talladega, AL is fourth with 238 points.
Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL is fifth with 228 points.

are tied for sixth with 220 points apiece.
Larry Harrod of Plains, GA took the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly
Racing Series East Region win on Friday night at Penton Raceway, and

Landon Sims of Jacksonville, AL is ninth with 203 points, and
Cory Korreckt of Lincoln, AL rounds out the top ten in the NeSmith
Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region standings with 191 points.

Keeton continues to lead the NeSmith
Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region with 250 points after five
starts with four wins, and one second-place effort.
The defending and two-time NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing
Series West Region Champion has a commanding 52-point lead over

in the West Region with three rainouts.
